I discovered the restaurant for myself in 2018 and I haven't been disappointed once. The food is always very tasty and the prices are reasonable. I would like a restaurant like this to be around the corner from me (I have to drive almost 30 km but it's always worth it). I would also like to praise the solution that the restaurant has found for these times, you come by spontaneously, get delicious food and it is also quite cheap. Thank you for that!

Pumpkin soup was totally salty and, according to my opinion, with flavor enhancer. When I asked the waiter about it: "Well I like it", yes it's still okay !? : D

The service is good, unfortunately not eating. Salad, beetroot tartar or the dessert (creme brulee) nothing could convince ...

The carrot and ginger soup tasted ok, but optically boring without a filler or decoration. Fried potatoes were mushy, as if they had been kept warm for a long time. Venison sausage was lukewarm. The first service person seemed disinterested, the second service person was friendly.

It can happen that the mill burger was (possibly frozen food) only lukewarm to cold. Therefore did not have to be paid. So ok.

Beautiful place where you can start your walk in the woods from the hotel's gate. Nice restaurant. Single rooms are tiny but adequate. Sound proofing is not great. Good value for money.

Today we had the large salad with vegetables and a mill steak as a vegan version. Both were delicious and sufficient. Price performance is right. The service is very friendly and attentive, with a very nice ambience. We will be back!

Sat outside under the trees by the running mill stream. the cool evening was a blessing! My thinly sliced roast beef served with frankfurts special 7-herb sauce and sauteed potatoes was delicious.

We had our wedding reception at the Wambacher Mühlenmuseum and an unforgettable time. The Mühlenmuseum is a perfect location for a wedding party and for dinner. Very good drinks and food and very friendly stuff. The Mongolian BBQ was our highlight!! The hotel rooms were clean and cosy and the room on the ground floor is also accessible for wheelchairs (2 steps to manage to get into room though). A big thank you to the team of the Wambacher Mühle :) !!!!

Good food and nice atmosphere. If you are still hungry you can get an other round of your main dish for no extra charge.

We came here to visit the grindstone outdoor museum. It's really unique and quirky and is definitey a must see if you're in the area. It doesn't take too much time to check it out and it's free.

We had dinner here again recently (we know the owners from way back), and once again we were blown away by the amazing quality and friendly staff. If you are looking for good German "wild" (game), then this is what you need. Prices are absolutely OK, and the portions are good (if it was way too little, ask for a "Nachschlag" on the house. Basically this is a top up of the meal you've just eaten! I had wild hog stew with red cabbage and a sort of dumplings (Knödel). Always good parking opportunities too!

Wonderful location as well as delicious food of some extent. You get free refills of your side orders. Absolutely worth your money. If the weather allows it, take a table outside.
